A home where they can live out their lives in peace until they pass from this earth. We are a small rescue dealing in quality care, not quantity. We will not take on more than we can handle this is a promise to all the cats here. They will get the love and attention they deserve. Far too many places take on more than they can handle and the animals pay the price because they have to many cats to care for and they do not get the individual attention and love they deserve each day.  We pride ourselves on what we can do for these cats, not what can this cat do for us.  We hope you will take the time to meet and learn about the residents here, and help us continue.  With your help we may not change the world but maybe we can change the life for one more. You are the saviors of these wonderful creatures and we have been blessed you chose to help them. Our gratitude and thanks to those who helped us achieve this goal you are special people. Hard times make for very hard choices  Due to the overall collapse of the economy and lack of donations and help, we have been forced to rehome several of our animals. Without donations or support we can longer achieve our goals for the animals. Again we had to make a sad choice and rehome several of the cats to a large rescue that gets major donations.  I know they will have food and medical care but they will not have the one on one we gave to all of them here. It broke my heart to have to make this choice but with no outside help we were backed into a corner and held on as long as we could. A chance to have them moved to a large rescue came up and I had to make a choice. For the sake of the animals I let them go, I miss them very much they were not rescues they were family to us. Their stories will remain here on this site even though they have gone to a new home. We cared for them and were attached to each of them, and we miss them very much. A few are still here and they will remain here, but we could no longer feed and provide for the needs of so many w/o outside help. We suffered the pain of losing two close together and they are buried here they lived out their lives here as I promised them and here they remain. Their graves are side by side under the shade of a big apple tree Tess and our Biggie  lived out their lives here and they are missed very much. We honor them on our Goodbye Old Friends Page                                                         WE ARE THE FORGOTTEN A pledge we made when this all began was we will never take on more than we can properly feed and care for out of our own pockets. We know counting on donations to support this rescue would be stupid on our part. We don't house the big cats, we took on the ones who don't get the big donations and corporate funds to care for them. This are the ones that are not in the news, these are the forgotten out there. The small exotic, not news worthy, and easily lost to the world. While the Tigers, Lions and other Great Cats, or endangered make news around the world, the  insignificant small cats from bobcat to cougar are the lost souls, who are being ignored. But they live, the breath, they feel pain and fear. They too need a safe place where they can live out the remainder of their lives in peace. This is the promise I made to those who have come to us, they are safe now, they are home.  Help us keep them safe.   Below the Iberian Lynx the most endangered spieces in the world.
