Warning we believe in
photos, and this site is filled with them. A picture is
worth a thousand words so our site tries to speak to you through our
many photos throughout this site. We hope you enjoy viewing them as
much as we do taking them. The size has been reduced to load faster
but there are many on each page so please give them a little time to

"My Precious, my
Precious"
We are dedicated to the exotic feline
here, providing a safe and permanent home for the uprooted and
neglected. A home where they can live out their lives in peace
until they pass from this earth. We are a small rescue dealing
in quality care, not quantity. We will not take on more than
we can handle this is a promise to all the cats here. They
will get the love and attention they deserve. Far too many
places take on more than they can handle and the animals pay
the price because they have to many cats to care for and
they do not get the individual attention and love they deserve
each day. We pride ourselves on what we
can do for these cats, not what can this cat do for
us. We hope you will take the time to meet and learn
about the residents here, and help us continue.
With your help we may not change the world but maybe we can
change the life for one more.
If you have always dreamed of
having an exotic feline of your own, learn as much as you can
first. Read, study, educate yourself before you take on this
responsibility read "Till Death Do US
Part" This may give
you some idea of things you need to know and learn before you
make this life changing decision. Beware
of breeders, research who they are before you buy,
do your homework first.
THANK YOU TO OUR
SUPPORTERS!!
Our sincerest thanks go out to those who
have donated and given their support we have
now been able to build our much needed perimeter fence.
Also we will be able to add a new cage and hopefully in
time a large run for the cats to play and run in. You are the
saviors of these wonderful creatures and we have been blessed
you chose to help them. Our gratitude and thanks to those who
helped us achieve this goal you are special
people.
FUTURE GOALS
We are trying to also raise the much needed funds for 2
surgery's on the female cougars here. They have been drawing
in a wild male all summer and I feel he will not be going
anywhere. As long as the girls keep getting his attention he
will be close by. This would not be a problem for the adults
here but we also have 3 young children living here from age 2
to 10 and summer has been spent indoors because of the
intruder. The children can not go outdoors unless an adult is
with them at all times. The wild male seems to have no
fear of humans and these kids are prey size for him.
Because we do not want any harm to come to the children
or to the wild male we would like to add more perimeter fence
around the yard to keep the cougar away from the children. So
we are in need of funds to expand the fence around the
property.
Our future goal is to build a habitat for the cougars
and give them more room to run free and play. If you would
like to help it would be greatly appreciated. A habitat
with a small pond and trees to lounge under, towers and rock
formations to climb.
We also want to increase the size of some of the
smaller cages, giving them more room to run and
play.
WE ARE
THE
FORGOTTEN
A pledge we made when this all
began was we will never take on more than we can properly feed
and care for out of our own pockets. We know counting on
donations to support this rescue would be stupid on our part.
We don't house the big cats, we took on the ones who don't get the big donations and corporate
funds to care for them. This are the ones that are not in the
news, these are the forgotten out there. The
small exotic, not news worthy, and easily lost to the world.
While the Tigers, Lions and other Great Cats, or endangered
make news around the world, the insignificant small cats
from bobcat to cougar are the lost souls, who are being
ignored. But they live, the breath, they feel pain and fear.
They too need a safe place where they can live out the
remainder of their lives in peace. This is the promise I made
to those who have come to us, they are safe now, they are
home. Help us keep them safe.
Below the Iberian Lynx the
most endangered spieces in the
world. Don't let her disapear from our earth. HELP
HER PLEASE!!!! Learn more about them
here and how you can
help them survive at www.soslynx.org/
This cat is not only endangered to the
brink of total extinction but also unknown to the majority of
us. It is getting wiped out in silence. Do
not let her go silently into the night. HELP SAVE THEM !!
WITH ONLY
AN ESTIMATED 150 POPULATION THE IBERIAN LYNX IS EUROPES
BIGGEST CAT SPECIES AND ITS EXTINCTION WOULD BE THE FIRST
FELINE EXTINCTION IN THE WORLD SINCE PREHISTORIC
TIMES.

You will get to meet some of the cats of Walk on the Wildside and tour
their homes, and learn a little about how they came to us. All
the cats here have a story and have come to us in need
of help, we could not turn them away.

Precious one of our newer
arrivals
The destruction of natural habit grows
everyday, man continues to pillage the forests and the
rainforests, and threatens the very existence of so many
creatures that depend on these places to exist. A species that
is threatened is only one
step away from endangered,
the next step is
EXTINCT!! ......EXTINCTION
IS FOREVER, once they are gone they will never be
again.

Our nonprofit is dedicated to saving the exotic feline
, one cat at a time and giving the abused and uprooted a
permanent safe home, and to educate the public about
the wonders of these cats. We have information available
to you on our links page, some wonderful informative sites to learn
from.

With laws changing every day the animals pay
the price, they loose their home and security, uprooted and
now in need of being relocated. Our goal is to help educate
the public and the law-makers before more are uprooted and
loose their secure homes.
We will continue our work
with your help. With your support and donations we can
continue to build cages and habitats for more Exotic Feline.
With your support we can provide permanent homes for others in
need.
